
The breakthrough rate for positive COVID-19 cases in Pettis County remains above 15 percent.
According to Pettis County Health Center officials, there were 88 positive tests from November 22-28, including 14 breakthrough cases- making the breakthrough rate 15.9 percent. Breakthrough cases are those persons who are fully vaccinated- at least two weeks post their second shot of Pfizer or Moderna or the Johnson & Johnson Janssen vaccination.
The 14 breakthrough cases break down as nine Pfizer, three Moderna and two J&J.
As of November 29, there has been a total of 7,765 positive cases in the county, including 80 active.
There have been 110 COVID-19-related deaths in the county, and currently nobody is hospitalized due to the virus in the county.
