More than 1,300 positive COVID-19 cases have been confirmed since the beginning of the pandemic in Chariton County.

According to the Chariton County Health Center, as of Thursday, December 2, there have been 1,306 positive cases.

Due to 1,249 of them being released from public health isolation and 19 COVID-19-related deaths, the active case count has risen by four to 38 in the county.
