On Saturday, December 4, members of the Sedalia Police Department, Pettis County Sheriff’s Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol and Pettis County Ambulance District participated in the Pettis County Children’s Christmas Event at Wal-Mart in Sedalia.

According to the Sedalia P.D., members from all departments took turns shopping with the kids.

Police department officials say, “We are fortunate to be part of this large event where we get the opportunity to interact with so many children and families, while using it as our yearly “Shop With A Cop”. We want to thank all the community members and  businesses that help put this event together and donate to the cause to ensure it happens every year. We truly are lucky to “protect and serve” such a great community.”
