The New Franklin R-I School District’s high school student council has announced it will be collecting toys for the Toys for Tots program.

According to a statement from the school district, student council members are asking for donations of new and unwrapped toys for local families this holiday season.

Donations can be made at collection boxes outside the elementary and high school offices until Friday, December 10.
