A 48-year-old La Monte man charged with a felony for allegedly being in possession of child pornography has a court proceeding scheduled.

The Pettis County Sheriff’s Department says a deputy arrested Christopher A. Gardner on June 28.

Court documents say Gardner is charged with felonies for possession of child pornography and first-degree statutory sodomy- victim under the age of 12. Bond remains $250,000 cash or surety.

Gardner’s case was bound over to the trial division on August 31, and Gardner waived his arraignment on September 7. His next hearing is scheduled to be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, December 6, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
