The active case count of COVID-19 has stayed near 40 the last few days in Chariton County.

According to the Chariton County Health Center, as of Wednesday, December 8, the active case count was 39, the same as it was on Monday, December 6.

There have been 1,327 positive COVID-19 cases and 19 COVID-19-related deaths confirmed since the beginning of the pandemic in the county.
