On Tuesday, December 7, Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt issued an order requesting all school districts and health departments to stop mask mandates and quarantines immediately.

Saline County Health Department Administrator Tara Brewer says the health department has operated under state regulations during all of the time of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Brewer says the health department is doing the best it can, but clarification is needed.
