
Charged with a felony for allegedly leaving the scene of an accident that caused injuries to another person on May 12 in Cooper County, a Boonville resident is due in court.
A Boonville Police report alleges Treyvon Korte was the driver of a vehicle that struck a juvenile male and threw him to the ground. Korte then accelerated and fled the scene without stopping to check on the boy.
Court documents say Korte is charged with a felony for leaving the scene of an accident- physical injury.
Korte’s case was bound over to the trial division on October 26, and he pleaded not guilty on November 8. His next hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. Monday, December 13, at Cooper County Circuit Court.
