Another COVID-19-related death has been reported in Chariton County.

According to the Chariton County Health Center, as of Monday, December 13, there have been 20 COVID-19-related deaths in the county since the beginning of the pandemic.

The active case count is now 25, down from the high 30s last week.

In all, there have been 1,342 total COVID-19 cases in the county, with 1,297 of them being released from public health isolation as recovered.
