A Warrensburg man is facing a couple of felony charges after a reported pursuit on an ATV on December 4.

According to a probable-cause statement, a law-enforcement officer says he pursued an ATV traveling at a high rate of speed on a couple of different roadways. During a search of the suspect, the officer says he located $4,000 in U.S. currency in the defendant’s pants pocket; and methamphetamine and cocaine, a digital scale and unused plastic baggies inside a bag he was carrying.

Court documents say William Duane Meixner is charged with felonies for trafficking drugs in the second degree and possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $25,000 cash only.

Meixner pleaded not guilty on December 6. A case review is scheduled to be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 15, at Johnson County Circuit Court.
