
A 25-year-old woman who has been charged with sex-related felonies involving a juvenile in Cooper County is due in court.
According to a Boonville Police report, Kathleen Fallon Cooper, of Crystal River, Florida, is alleged to have inappropriately touched a 6-year-old girl between August 19 and September 29, 2016, at a residence in Boonville. The girl gave explicit details of the incident to authorities during a forensic interview. The girl said Cooper told her not to tell anyone about what she had done to her.
Court documents say Cooper is charged with two felonies, including one for child molestation in the first degree. Bond remains at $20,000 cash or surety.
Cooper, whose address is listed as Crystal River, Florida, pleaded not guilty on September 14, and waived her right to a speedy trial on October 5. Cooper’s next hearing is scheduled to be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 14, at Cooper County Circuit Court.
