Saline County Treasurer Jared Brewer gave his monthly report on the sales-tax money the county received at the meeting of the county commission on Thursday, December 9.

Brewer first gave an update on the sales tax.

Brewer continued with three other taxes received.

According to information provided by Brewer, the total for each tax received was more than in 2020– Sales Tax: $1,311,762.96 in 2021 ($1,179,971.90 in 2020); Law-Enforcement Tax: $983,821.34 in 2021 ($884,979.64 in 2020); Use Tax: $641,537.80 in 2021 ($616,096.60 in 2020); Law-Enforcement Tax with a Sunset: $327,462.35 in 2021 ($294,710.84 in 2020); and Economic Development Sales Tax: $1,310,018.02 in 2021 ($1,176,473.79 in 2020).
