Paul Robert Fuchs, 76, of Marshall, died Thursday, December 16, at Harry S Truman Memorial Veterans’ Hospital in Columbia, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 21, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor William Voelker officiating. Burial with military rites will follow at Ridge Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Born September 8, 1945, in rural Concordia, MO, he was the son of the late Elmer A. Fuchs and Lorna D. Brackman Fuchs.  Paul lived in Marshall most of his life and was a 1963 graduate of Marshall High School.  He served in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1967.  On December 9, 1978, he married Judy Gotmer who preceded him in death on November 30, 2009.  On March 3, 2018, he married Barbara Brumit Wright who survives of the home.  Paul worked in maintenance at Con-Agra Frozen Foods for 22 years and then worked as a driver for Mid-State Seed for 10 years, retiring in 2011.  He was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and Malta Bend American Legion Post 558.

In addition to his wife, Barbara; he is survived by four children: Robbie Fuchs (Miranda) of Marshall, Troy Robert Cox (Marie) of Center Point, IA, Christina Burton (Billy) of Marshall, and Brian Cox (Jamie) of Jefferson City; 10 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Harms of Raymore, MO and Joann Landreth of Lee’s Summit; Barbara’s daughters, Kimberly Jenkins (Scott) of Trophy  Club, TX and Kourtenay Householter (Harold Huss) of Nashville, KS; two bonus grandchildren from Barbara as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family.
