Charged with a sex-related felony involving a juvenile, a Holden man is due in court.
A probable-cause statement says on February 27, 2020, a girl was removed from the home of Roy Jason Bailey and placed into protective custody. In December 2020, the girl began disclosing sexual abuse she suffered from Bailey. The girl said the abuse happened over an approximate 10-month period. The girl’s disclosures in explicit details were made to a foster mother and a therapist.
Court documents say Bailey is charged with a felony for statutory sodomy or attempted statutory sodomy- deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 14 years old. Bond remains at $50,000 cash only.
Bailey pleaded not guilty on October 29. A case review is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, December 20, at Johnson County Circuit Court.
