
A 60-year-old Sedalia man who is facing a sex-related felony charge involving a child has a court proceeding scheduled.
According to a Sedalia Police report, on September 29, the child alleged to a Child Safe investigator and authorities that David Lee Paxton Jr. touched her inappropriately and described the incident from two to three years ago.
Court documents say Paxton is charged with a felony for child molestation in the first degree. Paxton posted $25,000 surety bond on November 3.
Paxton’s case was bound over to the trial division, and he is scheduled to be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. Monday, December 20, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
