The Community Blood Center (CBC) is the primary provider of blood and blood components to 70-plus hospitals and medical centers in the Greater Kansas City region.

A news release says the CBC will conduct a life-saving blood drive this week in Saline County.

The blood drive is scheduled to be held from noon to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, December 22, at the YMCA at 740 East Yerby Street in Marshall. Donors are encouraged to make an appointment by visiting savealifenow.org/group and using Group Code: kcpv.

Appointments are preferred. Masks are required regardless of vaccination status.

All presenting donors will receive a Chiefs Kingdom T-shirt.
