An area law-enforcement agency is asking for help from the public in locating a man with an active warrant.

According to the Sedalia Police Department’s Crime Resolution Unit, 30-year-old Gregory Wyrick Jr. is wanted for two counts of probation violation and failure to appear for an assault charge. Wyrick is described as a white male, 5-foot-11 and 185 pounds.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Wyrick is urged to contact the Sedalia Police Department’s Crime Resolution Unit; or, if outside of Sedalia, contact your local law-enforcement agency. You can remain anonymous.

Authorities say you should not take any police action yourself.
