
An Ignacio, Colorado man was flown from the scene of an all-terrain vehicle crash in Johnson County on Thursday, December 23.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as a westbound 2010 Polaris, driven by a 9-year-old, was attempting to switch lanes and overcorrected. The all-terrain vehicle overturned and the passenger, 66-year-old Billy Faust was ejected. Faust was not reportedly wearing a safety device.
Faust was flown by Life Flight helicopter to St. Lukes Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, for treatment of serious injuries.
The crash happened at 12:22 p.m. near the intersection of Southeast 900 Road and Southeast 971 Road.
