Gary Lee Untiedt, age 85, of Marshall, MO, died Thursday, December 23, 2021, at University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with Chris Weber officiating. There will be no visitation. Burial, with military rites, will follow at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall.

Born April 18, 1936, in Clutier, IA, he was the son of the late Kenneth Untiedt and Nettie Black Untiedt. He was a U.S. Army veteran. On July 27, 1957, in Elberon, IA, he married Ina Mae Anders who preceded him in death on August 18, 2015. He was in management for 36 years at Wilson Foods and a member of First United Methodist Church in Marshall.

Survivors include three children, Sam Untiedt (Debbie) and Sandy Weber (Chris) of Marshall, and Cindy Town of Huntington, IN; six grandchildren, Jason Untiedt, Jacquelyn McCorkle, Jordyn Stewart, Katie O’Bold, Kiersten Ravenna and Kyler Town; 13 great-grandchildren; and one niece and one nephew.

In addition to his parents and wife, Gary was preceded in death by one brother, Duane Untiedt.
