
Members of the East Central Drug Task Force, Howard County Sheriff’s Office and the Fayette Police Department executed a narcotics search warrant on December 21, and a Fayette woman is facing felony charges.
According to a probable-cause statement, items seized included six plastic baggies containing a white crystal substance; seven plastic bags; two containers with marijuana; two unknown pills; numerous empty plastic baggies; a digital scale with white crystal residue; and eight glass pipes. The methamphetamine weighed approximately 70 grams, and the marijuana weighed approximately 390 grams.
Court documents say April Dawn Quint is charged with felonies for trafficking drugs in the second degree, delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $50,000 cash only.
Quint was arraigned on Thursday, December 23. A bond review hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. Tuesday, December 28, at Howard County Circuit Court.
