Bond is set at six figures for a 44-year-old Cole Camp woman who was arrested and formally charged after a reported pursuit on Christmas Eve in Pettis County.
According to a release from the Pettis County Sheriff’s office, deputies- in conjunction with a Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force investigation- conducted a drug interdiction traffic stop in the area of U.S. Highway 50 and Route T.
Deputies contacted the driver and sole occupant and attempted to obtain consent for a vehicle search. The driver then fled in her vehicle. A pursuit was initiated that reached speeds of approximately 95 mph. Stop sticks were successfully deployed at two different locations, and the vehicle ultimately came to a stop on its rims on West 10th Street in Sedalia. The woman attempted to flee on foot, but K9 Cav was deployed and apprehended her a short distance later, and she was taken into custody.
Between the vehicle search and the amount located on her person after entering the jail, approximately five ounces of methamphetamine and paraphernalia were seized.
According to court documents, Crystol Renee Streett is charged with felonies for trafficking drugs in the second degree and resisting arrest, detention or stop by fleeing. Bond is fixed at $150,000 cash or surety.
Streett was scheduled to be arraigned at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 27, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
