During the most recent Slater City Council meeting, council members held a public hearing in regards to the city’s budget.

Assistant City Administrator Gene Griffith said the council approved the 2022 budget.

The council approved city workers’ health insurance policy.

In other news, the council authorized Mayor Dr. Stephen Allegri sign a development agreement for a home construction on a corner lot on Parker and Walnut Street.

The next Slater City Council meeting is scheduled to be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2022.
