A court proceeding is scheduled for a Boonville man who has been charged with alleged sex-related felonies involving a juvenile in Cooper County.

Court documents say Eric Louis Reasons is charged with felonies for two counts of statutory sodomy or attempted statutory sodomy with a person less that 14 years old and child molestation in the third degree. The court denied a request for bond reduction on November 30, and bond remains at $250,000 cash or surety.

Reasons pleaded not guilty during his arraignment hearing on November 9.

Reasons’ preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, at Cooper County Circuit Court.
