The Marshall Municipal Utilities’ Board of Public Works’s board president, Wick Jacobi’s term is ending soon, and during the board’s meeting on Thursday, December 30, General Manager Jeff Bergstrom thanked Jacobi for his service.

During the Marshall City Council’s meeting on Monday, December 27, Mayor Julie Schwetz made a recommendation to appoint Chuck Hines to fill the upcoming vacancy on the board. Jacobi expressed to the city council he would be willing to serve another term.

The council is scheduled to formally vote on Mayor Schwetz’s recommendation of former councilman Hines at its meeting on Monday, January 3.
