A 58-year-old Sedalia man who has been charged with a felony for allegedly entering another person’s residence without permission on November 9 is due in court.
A probable-cause statement says a woman called authorities and reported a man she did not know was inside her residence, exposed himself and inappropriately touched her. The suspect left before the arrival of authorities, so he was identified by looking at surveillance video. Also, the alleged victim identified the man in a photo array.
Court documents say Robert Lee Hartman is charged with a felony for burglary in the first degree and a misdemeanor for sexual misconduct. Bond originally was $50,000 cash or surety. On November 24, the court amended bond to $25,000 cash or surety, and Hartman posted surety bond that day.
The case has been bound over to the trial division. Hartman is scheduled to be arraigned at 9 a.m. on Monday, January 3, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
