
Facing multiple felony charges after a reported disturbance on October 11, a 33-year-old Sedalia man has a court proceeding scheduled.
A Sedalia Police report says the resident who reported the incident said somebody was trying to get into his residence and a gun was somehow involved. Upon arrival, one man was seen holding another man on the ground. The officer located the pistol, which contained two rounds of ammunition in the magazine and one in the chamber.
According to court documents, Christopher Hart is charged with felonies for unlawful use of a weapon- exhibiting; assault in the third degree; and armed criminal action. Hart posted surety bond on October 25.
The case was bound over to the trial division, and Hart waived his arraignment on December 20. His next hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Monday, January 3, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
