In the beginning of December 2021, the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office, Sedalia Police Department and Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force conducted a month-long investigation of a residence in the 1500 block of Crestview Drive.
A news release says during the investigation, detectives gathered enough information for a search warrant at the residence.
On Wednesday, January 5, Pettis County authorities, the drug task force, the Pettis County K9 Unit and the Johnson County/Warrensburg SWAT team executed a no-knock search warrant. Two persons were arrested inside the residence. During the search, a large amount of suspected methamphetamine- approximately 354 grams- was located. Authorities say they also seized several firearms- one of which was reported stolen out of the Cooper County Sheriff’s Office.
At this time, charges are pending against 39- and 26-year-old men. Per KMMO policy, the names of the suspects will not be released until formal charges are filed.
