Cecil Junior Williams, 86, of Marshall, died Sunday, December 19, 2021, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.

Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, January 13, at Marshall Family Worship Center in Marshall, with Mark Gooden officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Inurnment with military rites will be in Clarks Chapel Cemetery near New Franklin in Howard County. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Tunnel to Towers in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Born April 29, 1935, in Gatewood, MO, he was the son of the late Cecil Edward Williams and Pearl Mae Ingram Williams. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran stationed in Fairbanks, AK and a member of the American Legion. On December 5, 1955, he married Genell Rackley who preceded him in death on June 12, 1977. On October 5, 1985, he married Sandra Lee Rose who survives of the home. He loved his work and was owner and operator of Ace Log and Lumber, Williams Logging, Ace Wood Products and American Rustic Tabletops. He lived in Marshall since 2010, moving from Moberly, MO, previously living in New Franklin, and attended Marshall Family Worship Center.

Survivors include his wife Sandy; six children, Sherry Snoddy (Wayne) of Gilbert, AZ, Susan Davis (Mike) of Boonville, MO, Kerry Williams (Leslie) of Marshall, Michelle Pyktel (Shawn) of St. John’s, FL, Layne Thomas (Lori) of the state of Florida and Darrell Simpson of Ionia, Mich.; 10 grandchildren, Kayla Snoddy, Kyle Snoddy (Brittany), Whitney Ashton (Chris), Wes Davis (Courtney), Kristen Williams (fiancé, Drake Donoho), Jackie Sinklear, Jamie Leonard (Abiel), Jeremy Sinklear, Erin Pyktel and Lacie Thomas; 14 great-grandchildren; four siblings, Lucille Steele (Billy) of Palmyra, IL, Lonnie Williams (Carolyn) of Jacksonville, IL, Don Williams (Sandy) of Modesto, IL and Larry Williams (Susan) of Springfield, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
