Firefighters battled a blaze in a Johnson County city on Monday, January 10.

According to the Warrensburg Fire Department, crews were toned out to a report of a residential structure fire at approximately 6:11 a.m. Firemen arrived at the scene at approximately 6:15 a.m., and the fire was controlled by 6:26 a.m. The last units cleared the scene at 8:12 a.m.

Crews found the fire to be on the exterior and in the attic space of the home. No injuries were reported from the scene.

The Warrensburg Police Department, Johnson County Ambulance District and Evergy all assisted with the incident.
