An area county has announced a deadline for a grant application is ending soon.

According to a news release, the Warrensburg Convention and Visitors Bureau’s grant program was established to provide startup funding to nonprofits hosting events, programs and sporting events that promote the development and growth of overnight tourism in Warrensburg. 

The WCVB has awarded more than $30,000 to area nonprofits in grant funding.  

Officials say the WCVB 2022 grant program application deadline is soon approaching.  The application deadline is Friday, January 28. Applications and grant information can be found at VisitWarrensburg.com under the About Section.
