A 25-year-old Slater man is in custody and has been charged after allegedly making terrorist threats on December 26.

According to a probable-case statement, officers responded to a report that Andrew Jacobson was on his way over to the victim’s residence. The victim reported Jacobson was threatening to kill various persons after an incident that occurred on December 23.

Upon arrival, authorities found Jacobson outside the home in his vehicle. Jacobson allegedly told authorities he was wanting to obtain custody of his children without going through the court system.

Court documents state Jacobson is charged with terrorist threats in the second degree. Bond is set at no bond.

Jacobson was arraigned on December 28. A counsel status hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, at Saline County Circuit Court.
