Anna Ruth Scott, 74, of Marshall, died Sunday, January 16, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, January 22, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating.  Burial will follow at Sunset Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.  Memorials are suggested to family choice and an online guestbook is available at ww.campbell-lewis.com

Ruth was born on October 1, 1947, in Mexico, MO, and was the daughter of the late Isaac Daniel Langley and Maurine Ruth Surber Langley.  Ruth lived in Marshall most of her life and retired from Con-Agra after working there for 30 years.  On March 2, 1962, she married Eddie Lee Scott who survives of the home.  She attended Southside Assembly of God for many years where she drove the church bus, bringing many kids to the church, was a Sunday school teacher, Missionette leader, and led many people to the Lord.  In the last several years she worshiped with Jimmy Swaggart Ministries.  Ruth enjoyed yard sales, collecting things, but will always be remembered for her love of people and doing her best to help anyone who needed it.

In addition to her husband, Eddie; she is survived by two children, Tina Marie Scott and Randall Lee Scott, both of Marshall; three grandchildren: Racheal Wharton (Lisa), Crystal Woody (Roger Miller), and Tristan Crawford; six great-grandchildren: Kadence, Liam, Memphis, Quinn, Alexus and Eliyas: as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Sharon Ann Crawford; two brothers, Isaac Langley Jr. and Clay Langley; and two sisters, Betty Jean Reynolds and Gloria Kathryn Otken.
