Some equipment and vehicles will be put up for sale in the next few weeks by an area city.

At this month’s Sweet Springs Board of Aldermen meeting, Public Works Supervisor Nate Lea said his department has several items that need to be sold.

According to unofficial minutes from the meeting, Lea said the items include a Yard Sport, a white dump truck, a wideout western plow, a Salt Dog salt/sand spreader, an F450 with plow, boat motors and an air compressor.

Aldermen approved a silent auction to be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, February 3 and 4; and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 5, at city hall.
