Mady JoEllen (Lewis) Kraft, 47, formerly of Brunswick, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, in Tennessee.

A celebration of life will be held  from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, February 19, at the Knight & Rucker ballroom in Brunswick.

Mady was born on August 28, 1974 in Marceline, MO, to Walter and the late Terry (Barnheart) Lewis.  She was a 1992 graduate of Brunswick R-II High School.  After high school she worked as a waitress for many years and also worked for the street department of Tennessee.

Mady was baptized in the First Christian Church in Callao, MO and later transferred her membership to the Brunswick Christian Church.  She loved to ride her Harley Davidson motorcycle, shoot guns, and spending time with her family and friends.

Mady is survived by her father and step-mother, Walt and Ina Lewis of Brunswick, MO; three children, Samantha Jackson of Denver, CO, Laisie Andrews of Baxter Springs, KS, and Josie Andrews of Baxter Springs, KS; and nine siblings, Walt Lewis (Geraldine) of WA, Mark Lewis of ID, Linda Rodriguez D.O. of OK, David Taylor (Tammy) of Brunswick, MO, Robin Lewis of Sweet Springs, MO, Donna Dickey of OK, Eddie Lewis (Ronda) of Alma, MO, Todd Lewis (Yvonne) of TX, and Ronda Taylor of DeWitt, MO.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Terry; her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Barnheart; her paternal grandparents, Walt and Virnena Lewis; and her step-grandmother, Erma McCully.
