
The Lexington R-5 School District has updated its COVID-19 numbers.
According to district officials, as of Friday, January 21, there has been a total of 193 positive cases since the beginning of the school year, including 21 active cases.
The total breaks down as 54 at LBS; 53 at LHS; 49 at LMS; 18 at ECC; 17 at LLRTC; and two at BOE.
The percentages of students and/or staff excluded by building: eight percent at ECC; seven percent at LBS; six percent at LHS/LLRTC; and five percent at LMS.
District administrators say, “”If your student is considered a close contact, you will be notified by the district.”
