Five broadcasters will be inducted into the MBA Hall of Fame on Friday, June 10, at The Lodge of Four Seasons at Lake of the Ozarks.

According to a press release, the ceremony, which has traditionally been part of the MBA Awards Program, will now have a stand-alone banquet to honor the 2022 inductees.

The inductees are:
– Mitch Holthus: He has been the radio voice of the Kansas City Chiefs for the past 27 years and play-by-play announcer for college basketball.
– Art Holliday: His career includes 42 years at KSDK-TV in St. Louis as a sports and news anchor; and in 2021 he became the first black news director in St. Louis.
– Arlen Diamond: He is a former program creator and director of broadcast services at Ozarks Public Radio and Television in Springfield.
– Oscar Hirsch (deceased): Founder of KFVS-TV in Cape Girardeau, he is a broadcast pioneer in both radio and TV in Southeast Missouri.
– Derry Brownfield (deceased): Co-founder of the Brownfield Network, an agriculture news service for radio stations in several states, including Missouri.
