A 45-year-old Boonville woman is facing multiple drug-related felony charges after authorities allegedly found controlled substances in her vehicle and residence on March 23, 2021.

According to a probable-cause statement, authorities say they found methamphetamine and marijuana in Talesha Woods’ vehicle. Woods told authorities she has a medical marijuana card and can possess some marijuana legally. Authorities told Woods they believed more methamphetamine was inside her residence, and they would be applying for a search warrant. Woods told authorities there was more methamphetamine at her residence, and she would take them there. Authorities say they located another clear baggie containing a large crystal rock- which tested positive to be methamphetamine- and a digital scale with crystal residue on it; as well as several controlled pills.

According to court documents, Woods is charged with felonies for delivery of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $50,000 cash or surety.

Woods’ initial hearing is pending at Cooper County Circuit Court.
