
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the entire KMMO listening area.
A news release from the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office says heavy snow is possible in portions of north central, northeast, northwest and west central Missouri.
Total snow accumulation of six to 12 inches is possible.
The Winter Storm Watch will be in effect from Tuesday evening, February 1, through Thursday afternoon, February 3.
Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
Affected counties include Saline, Carroll, Chariton, Cooper, Howard, Johnson, Lafayette and Pettis Counties in the KMMO listening area.
