The City of Marshall is declaring a Snow Emergency for Wednesday, February 2, and Thursday, February 3.

A news release says, city officials urge residents to park all vehicles off the streets during the snow event.

City officials say, “We will be clearing streets marked with Emergency Snow Route signs first; then we will proceed to the secondary snow routes. Once these routes are completed, we will then proceed to residential neighborhoods with little or no notice. Please find a place to park your vehicles off the street before this event occurs.”

Also, due to the impending wintry weather, the city will suspend all trash service on Wednesday, February 2, and Thursday, February 3.

City officials say, “Please do not put your trash out on Wednesday or Thursday. If it is already curbside, please pull it back.”

Regular trash service will resume on Monday, February 7.
