At 5 p.m. Monday, January 31, a Johnson County K-9 Officer officially retired.

According to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, K-9 Boss spent the past 5-1/2 years on the job and was handled by Det. Watkins.

K9 Boss will now be able to relax and enjoy being a dog at home playing with the Watkins family.
