The Catch-and-Keep Trout Fishing Season has begun in Marshall.

According to the Marshall Parks and Recreation Department, the season began on Tuesday, February 1, and runs through October 31.

According to park officials, you may catch and keep up to four trout daily from Lake Minesa. There are no bait restrictions, but all anglers ages 16-64 must have a fishing permit along with a trout permit to possess trout.

Pole fishing only (max of three poles per person).

The Missouri Department of Conservation stocked the lake with 800 trout on November 1, 2021.
