
Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers have been very busy since midnight on Wednesday, February 2.
According to the highway patrol, troopers responded to 2,679 calls for service; 1,578 stranded motorists; and 556 traffic crashes that included 35 injuries and one fatality through 2 p.m. Thursday.
Highway Patrol officials urge residents to continue to try to avoid nonessential travel.
They also say, “Road crews are still hard at work trying to treat and clear the snow and ice.”
