Robert Lee Jones Sr., 72, of Marshall, MO, died Sunday, February 6, 2022, at Bothwell Regional Hospital in Sedalia.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 10, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating. Burial will follow at Ridge Park Cemetery. Born December 5, 1949, in rural Nelson, he was the son of the late Vernon L. Jones and Velma Hanlin Jones.  Robert lived in Saline County his entire life and was a 1968 graduate of Marshall High School.  On August 21, 1982, he married Lola Christine Davenport who survives of the home.  Robert was a lifelong farmer and had belonged to various agricultural groups through the years.

In addition to his wife, Christine; he is survived by two sons, Robert Lee Jones II (Julia) of Marshall and Zachary Tyler Jones (Jessica) of Kingsville; five grandchildren: Kendall, Keelan, Payton, Zoe, and Huxlee; as well as nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Kendall Lewis Jones; one brother, Stephen Jones; one niece and one nephew.
