
Larry Gene Garrison, age 75, of Sweet Springs, MO, died Monday, February 7, 2022, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 11, at Fairview Cemetery in Sweet Springs, with William W. Harlow officiating. There will be no visitation, but friends may sign the guestbook and pay their respects from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Born June 10, 1946, in Warrensburg, MO, he was the son of the late Samuel Garrison and Fadeen Wheeler Garrison. On July 9, 1966, he married Ruby Hursman who survives of the home. Larry lived in Sweet Springs his entire life and had worked at International Shoe Factory in Marshall and Sweet Springs, Concordia Foods, and retired from Nordyne. He attended Assembly of God churches through the years.
In addition to his wife, Ruby; he is survived by one daughter, Trudy Bowman (Kevin) of rural Marshall; one son, Tracy Garrison of rural Sweet Springs; three grandchildren: Dustin March, Keshia Hall, and LaCrissia Garrison; four great-grandchildren: Mya Garrison, Leila Garrison, Lily Garrison, and Amari March; one sister, Freda Hursman of Cole Camp; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.
