During the Marshall-Saline Development Corporation board meeting on Tuesday, February 8, the board unanimously approved Executive Director Cydney Mayfield to register as the Registered Agent for the organization with the Secretary of State’s Office.

Mayfield says the Registered Agent for MSDC is still listed under former Executive Director Sandy Allison.

Mayfield also reminded the board the Women Who Mean Business Networking event is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 9 at the Malcolm Center for Student Life on the Missouri Valley College campus.

Mayfield says eventually her hopes are to expand the networking event to all professionals in the county, not just women.

In other news, following his announcement to withdraw from the upcoming Municipal Election, councilman Kirk Arends told the MSDC board he would be resigning as the representative for the City. The board approved Arends resignation and accepted City Administrator J.D. Kehrman as the city’s representative on the board before adjourning to executive session.
