David L. Grossenburg, 73, of rural Marshall,  died Saturday, February 5, at his home.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Marshall Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Clark Armstrong officiating.  Private family inurnment will follow in Ridge Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Saline County Holiday Project Fund.  An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born August 11, 1948, in LeMars, IA, he was the son of the late Leo Grossenburg and Ethel Hillmer Grossenburg.  David was a 1966 graduate of Rock Valley High School in Rock Valley, IA and a graduate of Morningside University in Sioux City, IA.  On May 10, 1969, he married Jacklyn “Jacci” Chesshire who survives of the home.  They moved to Saline County in 1977 and he retired in 2002 to spend time with his family.  He was a member of Marshall Church of the Nazarene.

In addition to his wife, Jacci; he is survived by two sons, Vance Grossenburg of Marshall and Seth Grossenburg (Melisa) of Marshall; five grandchildren: Jaxson, Connor, Carson, Graceann and Brady; as well as other extended family.

David was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Rodney and Sidney Grossenburg.
