
A Boonville resident charged with a felony for allegedly leaving the scene of an accident that caused injuries to another person on May 12, 2021, in Cooper County is due in court.
Treyvon Korte was the driver of a vehicle that struck a juvenile male and threw him to the ground, according to a Boonville Police report. Korte then accelerated and fled the scene without stopping to check on the boy.
Court documents say Korte is charged with a felony for leaving the scene of an accident- physical injury.
Korte’s case was bound over to the trial division on October 26, and he pleaded not guilty on November 8. His next hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. Monday, February 14, at Cooper County Circuit Court.
