The Marshall Fire Department responded to a report of a fire near the Stone Hedge Golf Club on Monday, February 14.

According to a fire department spokesperson, crews were toned out at 11:32 a.m. and arrived at the scene a minute later.

Officials say the fire spread due to the dry terrain, fortunately, the blaze wasn’t near any structures.

The natural-cover fire was controlled by 11:41 a.m., and no injuries were reported from the scene.
