
It was a rather busy Super Bowl weekend for the Marshall Fire Department.
Firefighters responded to three reported blazes on Saturday and Sunday, February 12 and 13.
According to a fire department spokesperson, firefighters were toned out to a fire in the 21200 block on Lime Avenue at 4:30 a.m. on Saturday. The 40-by-60 shed was fully involved in flames by the time firefighters arrived. The estimated loss is $100,000.
At 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, firefighters responded to douse a small grass fire on 200th Road.
And at noon on Sunday, firefighters were toned out to put out a rubbish fire in the 22400 block on Key View Drive.
No injuries were reported from any of the scenes.
