Charged with sex-related felonies involving a juvenile in Cooper County, a 26-year-old woman is due in court.

A Boonville Police report alleges Kathleen Fallon Cooper, of Crystal River, Florida, inappropriately touched a 6-year-old girl between August 19 and September 29, 2016, at a residence in Boonville. The girl gave explicit details of the incident to authorities during a forensic interview. The girl said Cooper told her not to tell anyone about what she had done to her.

Court documents say Cooper is charged with two felonies, including one for child molestation in the first degree. She posted $20,000 surety bond on December 14.

Cooper pleaded not guilty on September 14 and waived her right to a speedy trial on October 5.

Her next hearing is scheduled to be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15, at Cooper County Circuit Court.
